100% NATURAL Virgin Coconut Soy Blend Wax with an all-natural wooden wick sourced and made in the USA. Our crackling wooden wicks made from sustainably sourced wood provides an eco-friendly burn. Our candles are vegan, phthalate-free and petroleum free.
As with all handmade items, no two candles are the same. Variations will occur.
Shipping Policy for Expedited and Economy: Due to high demand and material related delays, all orders may take 1-2 weeks to ship, unless otherwise noted.

Priority Mail is typically delivered within 1-3 business days while USPS First Class usually takes 2-5 business days depending on your zip code. - YOUR CANDLE BURNS BEST WHEN THE WICK IS TRIMMED TO 1/4 INCHES BETWEEN BURNS. AFTER FULLY COOLED, YOU CAN EASILY PINCH OFF THE BURNT PORTION ALONG THE TOP OF YOUR WICK - EXPOSING FRESH WOOD TO ENSURE A STEADY BURN
- ALLOW ENOUGH TIME FOR THE MELTED WAX TO REACH ALL SIDES OF THE GLASS TO PREVENT TUNNELING.(BURN APPROX 2 HOURS BUT NO MORE THAN 3-4 AT A TIME)
- WATCH OUT FOR DRAFTS WHEN CHOOSING A SAFE PLACE TO BURN YOUR CANDLE AND NEVER LEAVE YOUR CANDLE UNATTENDED.
- ALWAYS STORE YOUR CANDLES IN A COOL, DARK, AND DRY PLACE AWAY FROM SUNLIGHT.
- KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS
- EXTINGUISH A CANDLE IF IT REPEATEDLY SMOKES, FLICKERS, OR THE FLAME BECOMES TOO HIGH. THE CANDLE ISN'T BURNING PROPERLY. COOL, ALIGN AND TRIM THE WICK, THEN CHECK FOR DRAFTS BEFORE RELIGHTING.
- IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE A CANDLE SNUFFER TO EXTINGUISH A CANDLE. NEVER USE WATER AS IT CAN CAUSE WAX TO SPATTER OR GLASS TO BREAK.

A story of faith
In 2020, Courtney Ikerd envisioned Somerset Candle Co, a brand defined by timeless design, intentionality, and purpose. Inspired by a God whisper, she dreamed of the signature black-and-white aesthetic and the unique experience her candles could bring. Though she had never planned to pour candles or start a candle business, she embraced the challenge, trusting in the path laid before her. The early months were a journey of discovery, earning the art and science of candle making, building a website, and shaping a sustainable business. On October 11, 2020, Somerset Candle Co. officially launched. Amid a world in lockdown, her dream came to life, and the brand that began as a quiet calling now brings warmth, beauty, and intention into countless homes every day.
